The App uses your device's camera to allow you to take photos of objects in the real world. This access is essential for the core functionality: detecting object shapes and generating vocabulary cards.
All photo processing, object detection, and shape extraction happen **entirely on your device locally**. We do not upload your photos to any servers, and we do not store any images or processed data from your photos on our servers or anywhere else. Once the vocabulary card is generated and displayed, the photo and any temporary processing data are discarded from the device's memory and are not retained by the App.
If a photo you take accidentally or intentionally includes a human face or people, the App's object detection focuses solely on identifying general object shapes for vocabulary learning purposes. The App does not perform facial recognition, does not extract or store any facial features, biometric data, or personal identifiers from faces, and does not retain any information related to human likeness or facial privacy. All processing remains on-device, and no such data is ever stored, transmitted, or used in any way beyond immediate on-screen display.
We do not collect any device identifiers, IP addresses, location data, or usage analytics. The App operates offline for its primary functions and does not send any data to us or third parties.
